Character description: Salem has a lean build, lacking any kind of defined muscles. They have fair skin, without any sort of scars or blemishes, with a rosy blush on their cheeks. The only noticeable mole they have is on the lower left side of their face.
Their hair is long and wavy, easily reaching their lower back. The colour is a light blonde, with the ends reaching a lighter brown. They have two braids at the side of their head as well.
Their eyes are almond shaped, with purple-blue irises. Salem always wears lots of mascara as well to extend their eyelashes. They have a pale pink tint on their lips as well, often accompanied with a sparkly lipgloss.

Having grown up with a well-respected Knight of Beauty as a father - a man known for his incredible power, despite lacking one arm - it was only natural for Salem to end up as a Knight of Beauty as well. Despite this, they didn't let the mother's side of their family go into the shadows. Even today, they still continue on with the families background of a fisher's family, often visiting the seas to cast their trusty fishing rod.
After having spent countless years training, spending days and nights studying ancient texts with their two childhood dogs by their side, Salem was appointed a knight at the age of 14. They followed the Path of Beauty since then, even teaching others about the Beauty of the Goddess Idrila.
Salem strictly follows the Code of Chivalry, which often leads to them calling even the simplest of things impure. Even something as small as holding ones hand outside of a romantic relationship can be seen as sinful in their eyes, leading to the Knight praying for forgiveness. Due to this, they are often seen as odd or extreme, even by other Knights of Beauty.
After the loss of their father, they promised that they will continue on with following the path of Beauty, only wanting to make their father proud.
Is always armed with a heart-hemed bayonet rifle named their "Sweetheart". They got the rifle itself after their father passed away - before that, they were only armed with the dagger
Despite being a Knight of Beauty, they are not part of the Honorclad - the same faction Argenti is in. Their faction wears their armor only in battle and focuses on rituals of self-punishment after sinful behaviour
Their family has a Germanic history, specifically the Low German region of East Frisia
Grew up without any siblings, but always had their two childhood dogs - Matti and Billa - by their side

Their biggest fear is ending up like their father before he passed away - suffering from memory loss and even forgetting who their loved ones are
Their birth wasn't planned. Salem's an accident from their fathers one-time indulgence, which ended in a rushed marriage and eventual birth
Salem sees their whole existence as a sin, due to this. Another reason why they punish themselves so harshly for even the smallest mistake
Smokes herbs and flowers on occassion, usually just to clear their mind a little
Salem has inherited a lot of money after their fathers death. They've never mentioned the exact number, yet it most likely is in the high millions
Despite being quite wealthy, they rarely treat themselves to things. Really, most of their purchases are clothes from their favourite brands
The three most expensive purchases from Salem have been their Victorian-style mansion, their white-gold grand piano and their original Trabant
